I will not argue with that, but I have what I have. In the task of docking, I have focused on the finese of learning to deal with prop torque and sliding her back in. So far, so good. Heavy winds have presented a few challenges, but we've been able to overcome that issue with the boat hook when needed. Bite your tongue on the breakdown thing. The old motor is running strong, isn't burning any oil and she starts really easy.

Fingers stay crossed,

Hey, J B, I tried a single engine docking just last week; first on the starboard only (not bad), then on the port (a disaster!)

As an old salt once said, "Any damn foll can slip a twin-engined boat!"

We use this stuff call LEMON FRESH OIL.

IT helps the teak to shine and protects it. Plus gives the cabin /salon area a nice lemon fresh smell.

As Karl can attest, I've had to come in (and sometimes out) on 1 engine WAY too many times... I've got the scars to prove it.
