any body ever installed a bow thruster in a 41 ,and is it practical

U’ll also need a very good aluminum welder for the bow thruster make sure he/you uses the right wire. They have a bolt on stern thrusters which require no welding.

thats what scares me is thinking about prolems down the road and smoke from welding in a fwd cabin send me link on stern thruster

I believe I saw them at one of the local boat show last yr they use to have them pictured in the 2007 W/M catalog they don’t show them in this yr catalog U may want to call W/M to see if they still carry them or google thruster or better yet may want to take a look at DiverDennis neat set I’m sure he’d be glad to inform U on the how why’s & don’t & shot some pix great idea D/DApplause

Bow thruster was an option from the factory. I have a 41 and have never felt the need for a bow thruster. With 21 inch diameter props and 2.57:1 transmissions, the 41's are very maneuverable. I also have the best looking 1988 41 in the midwest located on Lake Cumberland, and it is for sale for 109K. You can see it at www.marinetteforsale.com.
