Hi All, Im have been reading this forum for a long time and finally joined. First off I would like to say THANK YOU to everyone that contributes here! The solid information and knowlege are GREAT! After doing alot of research/reading I bought a 1975 37' FB Sedan back in May of 2008. I LOVE IT..Needs work and TLC but its usable and SAFE. This group was a HUGE part of me making my decision to get a Marinette instead of a clorox bottle. I am at least the 4th owner of my boat and there are plenty of things that are beat up, worn down or wiped out but I plan on bringing her back to her full glory as time and money allow and using it all I can the rest of the time. I have had several email discussions with FastJeff and hope to meet him soon and see his boat. Jeff has a GREAT tips and tricks site with TONS of info and pics (http://fastjeff.tripod.com/) I want to see some of these in person. I would love to catch up with anyone else that is in the area too. I keep my boat on the Bohemia River in Maryland, let me know if your close.
Again Thanks to ALL of you and I look forward to your help and know how as I work to bring her back!

Cannt figure out how to put captions with the pics so....

1st pic - The day I moved it to Bohemia Bay Yacht Harbour. First day I ran the boat. The boat sat on land for 3+ yrs and was still there 18hrs before this pic was taken. Dropped her in Friday afternoon and left for a 4 hr ride Sat. morn to her new home.

2nd pic - Redneck Yacht Club - My friends and I anchored on the Bohemia for the weekend near the 213 bridge.

3rd pic - Enjoying a COLD one on the bow. North East River near the Nauti Goose on July 4th waiting for the fire works!

An added "welcome". Maybe you can persuade Jeff to change his pattern so he can come down the Blue Route and pick you up enroute to the Bay - warning: he hates I-95 but for a fellow Marinette nut, who knows.
PS: Love that one-of-a kind radar arch. Ain't fancy but it sure works.

To heck with the Blue Route! We take back roads to the boat and, if we don't encounter too many Amish buggies, get there in the same time.

Great looking boat! We'll be getting togther next summer for sure, unless the economy goes all to hell.

Hi Guys, Thanks! I like the dark hull with the light uppers just not a big fan of the tan on the uppers...want to change it to either LIGHT grey or white and keep the green. The "Radar Arch" HAHAHAHA is history, I called it the goal post, and it was one of the first things I took off from the old owner. It wasnt very well made and RATTLED ALL THE TIME! (running, in the slip, on land) so I took it down and used the stainless for part of my swim ladder. I-95 doesnt bother me unless its a parking lot! and there really arent any GOOD back ways from my place to the boat so I always take it. Lets HOPE for CHEAP GAS this coming season and ALOT of cruisin! Jeff...OH YEAH Thats my RIVER! HAhaha In your first pic... the buildings way off on the left...thats my marina, and in the others you are looking at my FAVORITE anchor spot! We Raft there ALL the time, close and cheap!! Great Place to spend the weekend, busy during the day and not alot of people at nite.

Stan,

It’s seems to get a little whiter in the off season but it also gets a hell of a lot colder Oh by the way don’t play with the yellow stuff a little salty )-;
