I am planning to replace the two tinted Lexan windows in the aft cabin. I have only found it to be available in bronze or gray tint. I would like to use the darker of the two. Does anyone know what color tint Marinette used?
Other than McMaster Carr, can anyone recommend a place that sells this stuff and can possibly cut it to size in the Chicago area?
If I have to cut this stuff myself what is the best method?

Has anyone found a source for the rubber/vinyl spline that is used to keep the glass in the windshield frame?

Thanks,

Rob

Check with your local glass place, they have the tinted glass and rubber.

Marinette used glass, not Lexan. Your glass or plastic supplier may be able to give you samples. I am pretty sure though that it wasn't bronze.
As for the spline question, I think there were some posts on the board within the last 6 months. Do a search on "windshield" and you may come up with the hits you need

Rob,

If this is the type seal U R looking for try your local glass replacement center that’s where I found
this stuff that I used when I replaced the windshield glass, it’s basically use to install & seal
shower enclosures.

Use a mimimm tint since the two panes overlap, making it much darker,

Thanks for the input guys. I think my original post may be a little confusing. The two aft cabin windows that I am planning to replace are in the transom of the boat. They are the two that don't open and they are 3/16" plastic (most likely Lexan). I want a somewhat dark tint because that part of the boat gets a lot of sun.
I mentioned the glass spline for the windshield because it has the same profile as the aft cabin windows.
The following picture is the profile.

I'm going to try some local places this week.

for the window spline material, one of the best stocked places is Blaine in Maryland. You could try sending them a sample of what you wish to replace. Check blainewindow.com.
Update: I just learned they have a retail store in the Chicago area:
