We've owned Detour for 10 years and hate to let her go but we are planning a circumnavigation of the eastern US and need a different kind of boat. We are looking for a single engine, diesel trawler.

Thanks, John, Detour is a great boat. I took the boat out of the water to get a survey and the starboard motor froze while on the hard. I'm going over today to clean out the bilge and help paint the port motor and generator (generator had to be removed to get the starboard motor out). The "Holy Place" will be looking fine when done. I also rewired the grounding set-up to better isolate DC current in the inside of the hull. I had the props reconditioned and balanced at Proformance Propeller in Soddy Daisy. Great folks, one day service. I also got a tour of the facility. They do props from all over the country. I saw several tow boat props that were really big. You are right about the Loop, can't wait. I'm willing to deal on Detour if you are interested let me know.
