last year my neighbor got into a jam at the dock and ended up slamming his swim deck into the side of my big M it left a dent about the size of what it would look like if someone hit it with a golf ball. I haven't turned it into the insurance yet, but I was wondering if I could sand this down and fill it with bondo. How would I go about pulling a chip of paint to match the repair? thanks

You can definitely fill the dent. Marinettes are full of filler. I've not used bondo but I suspect it would be fine above the water line. The fairing I've done is below the water line and I used west system epoxy mixed with their microfiber filler. Easy to do and has held up fine for 5 years now.
