My celeing panels and trim have been painted white. I think originaly the trim (port to starbord) was natural teak color. Does anyone know. I thought it might look better teak . Redneck Wayne 1973 express FB 32ft twin 318 "Southern Lady"Chattanooga

If you are talking about the thin strips (about 1" wide), mine are teak. It appears they are to hold the ceilng panels in place at the seams. In the cockpit, the ceiling panels are a vinyl type material with the teak strips and in the cabin, it is a fuzzy kind of material also with the teak strips. Mine is a 1987 express. Your sedan may have a different head liner in the salon but may still have had the teak strips.
