Ok. So I'm pretty sure that the $4 fuse holder (ignition, starboard, flybridge) was the root cause for my intermittent engine failures.
Thanks to Jeff (I think), for the tip. When checking the fuse, I found it to be comparatively loose (the fuse fell out of the cap). I zeroed in on that.
While backing out of my slip, last season in, I lost the right engine, swinging the boat into the rocks, and wiping out the port prop (later found that the stbd prop was out of whack too). Cost to pull boat to swap prop = $100.
Cost to repair 2 props = $400.
Needless to say, I've replaced all 4 fuse holders.
Took the run from Cleveland to Port Clinton today - no issues (knock on wood). Nice to be back in the water, after a year off...
