I recieved a call from Norm yesterday, it was typical, trash talking the Penguins and making bets he knows
he's going to loose. He also informed me to pass on to all who frequents this site, if you are in
Ludington he is known as Captian Insain-O, no one knows him by his name. I assume he making quite a name for himself in that town. He said he has bought close to a hundred cases of Butt Light so far.

As for the fishing, he said they are slaying the salmon, his wife was in town for the holiday weekend
and they were out for an hour and a half and caught ten, five of those weighed 87 pounds. when the weather allows him to go out, he said the fish just jump into the boat.

A message for Diver Dennis............ come back to Ludington for a week and I'll teach you how to drink beer.

Also, he said a 41" just pulled in and was going to see if it was one of the guy's from this site.
He is also clean shaven, just like in the pic with the big muskee.

Regards
Stan "just north of Pittsburgh on the Beaver River."

Thanks for the feedback on Captain Insane-O. We are pulling the boat up to Ludington on June 5th for a five day stay to break in the new fishing equipment. Norm is gonna teach us the finer points of salmon catching, fish cleaning, beer drinking, and BSing.
Gonna give him a call to make sure he has enough brewskis

The person who gave Norm that handle must know him well!

How about the 41 inch Marinette? I had a 28 foot one, and I thought those were the smallest they made....

Capt Insane-O called yesterday to trash talk about hockey, says he's killing them salmon.
Looking forward to seeing Dennis and is going to teach him how to fish and drink.
Poor guy, he's disillusioned from drinking bad beer.................go Pens
By the way, the Ursus is going in tommorow, fingers are crossed. Hopefully no more oil and water mixed.

Quit the griping, let us talk up the Wings. There are so few good things happening in Michigan right now!
Hell, We have the Lions for a Footbal team and the Pistons can't quite put it together! I would bet the Wings could play better Football...and the Pistons as well.

Not late for me. I'm not too far behind you. Just want to clean the goop from the bilge, replace two drain plugs on the starboard engine, put the drain plug and batteries in and I'm ready. The remaining projects (new canvas, repainted badges, new window tracks and interior work) are easier to do in the water. BTW, the admiral hates the curtains. Do you know anyone locally who does them?

Yea we took a hit in the Motor City but back to the igloo on Tues. night.

Talked to Norm on Sun.. Diver Dennis and and Norm have been limiting out daily.
Both are having a great time and Dennis has been taking pics so hopefully he will post them
when the trip is over. For an eighty three year old guy, he's hanging right in there.

I thought the TV said that game was in PA. Shows you I'm not watching it that closely. Just a game.

You mean Doc is educating Dennis on the telling of fish stories as well.

Fishing has been picking up in Lake Huron too. 3 years ago we had this nasty virus (VHS) that came trough and decimated the fish populations...but it hit the gobey's extra hard so now the eggs of species we catch stand a chance of surviving. I even started seeing perch schools last year which between cormorants and gobies perch were really hit hard.
