Thanks for the info Karl. Your update tells me that I should be looking for at least 1.0, even in freshwater. It tells me that our Capac meters will measure correctly in freshwater. I know, I know, you guys keep trying to tell me. I am getting a little conflicting info. I wish I had a portable meter so I could check the readings against mine. I will find someone around the dock with one sooner or later. For now I am stuck with .8 with all new KA90 anodes. Still reaching for the stars Pray

Freshwater guys, we need Capac readings with new anodes. Keep the poll going.

Checked again today and the needle is 2 marks to the right of 0.9. I believe that would be 1.1.
I think its been 1.1 since it went in the water on Thurs I just read it quickly and at such an angle I misread it at 1.0.

Another thing which I had posted last year is the connector from the Capac transducer up to the meter. There is a plastic cylinder which houses a butt connector in the engine room. Its just a little ways up from the transducer stalk. Mine was corroded. I cut and installed new butt and filled the tube with silicone grease.

Also don't forget to calibrate the Capac meter with a digital meter.
