I would like to know how to bypass the helm strobe .
I have been told 2 methods exist with not enough details to attempt

1 , Splice the purple wire into another in the ECM harness but not sure which? It must be lower voltage to work)
2 , Add a resistor in the 12 volt feed from the ignition to the purple wire .
( what value)

The strobe for the sync gets a signal from the coils and you should be able to just cut and tape the wires to the strobe to quit using it.
When I die I hope my wife sells my stuff for more than I told her I paid for it.

The strobe has electronics in it that limit the amount of current that flows through it.
If you cut and tape as you suggest, and as I had previously attempted, the engines do not fire.

What Brand of strobe do you have?? It sounds like your signal passes thru the strobe and not to the strobe.
