Had a guy offer me about 2 grand a month to stay on my 70ft M,SORRYDOG,tied to the dock for several months. Since I still do have a blown diesel eng. Sounded like a pretty darn good idea to me!! Also got a bud offered me $300,000 for her as is, ( about what I spent rebuilding the hull and that don't count my welding and labor for 4 years!!!) he'll put in the new engine with my help, only problem is I have to go with him to the Bahamas to show him how to run her,THEN run her to the west coast of Fl. to his dock,THEN!!! I GET TO USE HER ANY TIME I WANT!!!--SOME TIMES IT DONT SUCK TO BE ME!!!! He's waiting on a 2 mill. real estate settlement-so in the mean time, he and I are remoldeling my river house and playing and working on my customers boats. Boat sales here in Fl. seem to be picking up as long as you are giving your boat away. Sober people PANIC--DRINKERS ADJUST!!!!--Sorrydog --PS see some new members on the site-WELCOME--check out my site at www.sorrydog.com- go to listings and check out the SORRYDOG boat the custom 70ft M. I lost my mind and rebuilt!!! May want to click on the MERMAIDS too! Just wanted to say hi to all-just found my old passworld TO GET ON THE SITE-DOG

Sounds too good to be true, and you know what that means!

Got suckered years ago by a guy who thought he could do anything. Took my wife and I years to recover financially from what he got us into.

Dog,

Good luck on selling.
I'm with Jeff on being skeptical. Been through a screw once too. Luckily it wasn't enough to do damage, just enough to learn from it.

Hey sdog, good to have you back. I missed you on my last trip to FL, a couple of weeks ago. Sounds like you are OK. Save a mermaid for me for my next trip down....

Thanks for the advise guys!! This old dog is still getting by,started renting out some of my customers boats dock side as I have done mine. I pick up a fee off the monthly rental and get paid to do the maint. work on the boats. Just had one of the renters buy the boat he was living on, he liked the life style so much! A lot of people arent using thier boats, beats them paying the slip rent. I also have most of my docks rented as well as my boat house. I had several trade ins and rent them on weekends. Learned years ago the SUN DONT SHINE UP THE SAME DOGS BEHIND EVERY DAY!!! The SORRYDOG will sit at the dock as a rental till I see some $$$$. Come see me next trip Doug, I may not tip the waitress so much next time!!!! Guess the days of me making the big bucks selling boats and Yachts are over for awhile, I feel like I am one of the lucky ones as I got all my stuff paid off!! Lets see under the current admin. how long the S.S. checks keep coming!!! Still havent sold the Million Dollar BANK REPO YET!! Did get some offers in the low 400-500's. They aint happy!!! Sorrydog

The government has plenty of money to fund multi-million-dollar bonuses on Wall Street, so I have no doubt that they will be able to continue funding my social security check, which is somewhat smaller. No doubt. Yup, no doubt at all.

Mine too, but what we all have to be concerned with is runaway inflation. Think Weimar Republic.

That's why I invest my money in Marinette Futures. When we are all bankrupt, there I'll be, sitting at anchor, fishing pole in hand, enjoying the sunset.
