I bought a new Dual Pro 30A charger this past March.
Its been working fine until I noticed bank 1 was slowly discharging this past Friday. I swapped charger leads and bank 1 still didn't charge. This told me the charger was bad, not the battery.
After I tied up at the Marinette rendezvous I called tech support Friday at 4:57pm and left a voicemail. The tech called back shortly after 5 (surprising for a Friday). We talked for a little and he said they have had problems with the BUSSMANN fuses. There is a fuse in both + and - leads. They are shrink wrapped but he said I can cut and not void warranty. They have been having problems with the fuses "opening" but they visually still look good. Only way to tell is with meter or continuity tester. I took apart both fuses and both looked fine but sure enough the negative fuse had no continuity. Replaced the fuse and all was well.
I replaced all 4 fuses to be safe.

Aside from that minor issue this charger has been great at keeping the batts tip top shape, handling the house load and, I have yet to add water this summer. I've been checking the levels every few weeks.

Good product and excellent service!

Thanks, Karl! Got the same unit on mine and will be watching it closely.

Thanks Karl. Based on your thread earlier this year I installed the same unit. Good results so far.
