I had volunteered to scan and post on our site the manuals for Borg Warner transmissions that nearly all of us use. Peter sent me his PDF of the manual. But I nearly gagged when I saw that it was 58 pages long. I would have had to print it, then scan it page-by-page so it could be posted in small chunks (our site limits individual uploads in case you hadn't noticed and 58 pages would be way over that limit). In addition, I have a different but similar manual for Borg that is 88 pp.

While I was moaning and groaning over having volunteered, I got an email, totally coincidentally, on a software forum I monitor that pointed me to the site below which offers a free beta pdf to Word doc file conversion. It happens online (no software to download) after which you get an email with the converted document attached. One you can edit in Word. What a great time saver! I will be uploading the manual soon. Here's the site with the conversion - use it while it's free.

By the way, if you would like me to email the manuals to you, shoot me a PM or email via this site. Include your email address

Please Register : New members may not post until approved. An email is sent after approval. We do this to reduce those who use these forums for spamming. This forum is for Marinette Owners and other aluminum boat boaters who wish to share boating information. Aluminum Roamer owners are also welcome. (Do not post content you do not have the right to post and mass (robots) posters are unwelcome. We also have a marine electronics page and lots of Chrysler Engine info. State by what permission, you copy content and accredit properly.) The site is now fixed with some more Chrysler information. I will try to post more information soon. We have space for pictures on the new location. Use shinkpic to autochange size http://www.onthegosoft.com/sp_download.htm
