My Onan MCCK has been pretty reliable, although usually pretty hard starting. I've written for parts advice before, but now it won't keep running at all.

I can start it with a spritz of starter fluid, then it dies like it's out of gas. There's a throttle arm that I can watch move and it chokes the engine off. There is an adjustment screw on the connection from the arm to the carb, but the screw looks like it would move the arm in the direction that would just make it worse.

I'm no mechanic, just a "bolt on the new part" kind of guy, so I'd like some advice...

I'll give you some really good advise, and free! Don't mess with any of those adjustments. (It ran before with them, right?)

Your problem is gas feed. Start by pulling and cleaning the anti-sphon valve at the tank--it's part of the fitting. The ball in it should be free to move. I'll bet yours is stuck fast.
