Those Red Skins (that's a potato isn't it) went and ruined a perfect record and let the kittens win their first game since 2007! Now Norm will have to root for them to make it to the Superbowl and face dissapointment after disappointment.

Might as well take your BigM off the dry and head south Doc.

C J,

EYES Nose better than that I thought they had a game scheduled with the Eagles but it looks like the Eagles are horrified d'oh! to play the “Puddy Kats” so now with the Steelers that they’ll be playing in 2 wk. that will be their only chance for another win this season Pray after that game they be on the road trying to set another most lose record of maybe 0-20 or better. Brick wall Hey I didn’t throw away my TV brick just because they won one game Shame on you

Norm,

.."first ice isn’t far off "

Too true. (I sound like an Aussie, and that's okay. Never met one I didn't like.)

Bringing the dink boat home this week in preparation for the winter haul out. What a crappy Summer! Only in late August did we have a few weeks of warm and dry weather. Had to reschedule our Long Trip several times, then barely got it in.

Oh well... There's always next year (if America isn't bankrupt by then).

Doc,
Look closely, Two guys in that photo are only wearing wet suits! We spent 1 hr under the ice in early March that day. The guys in the wet gear said they did not get cold under the surface. I must confess I was not one of them...in fact I have the full face mask on and did not suffer at all above or below the ice.

Stan, was going to stay a wk but left after 3/4 days of nasty weather (global warming my A$$ thanks to AL, G ) seems more like a ice age coming. Just got back from the Ludington sky cam of the harbor entrance & a few of the wave are breaking over the light house on the N. pier head this is one time I’m glad I pulled early Whistle Just heard on the news that Lake Huron has 7' to 14' wave on Her d'oh!
