step one...open new topic, write text and post it (hit "post" button at bottom of screen)
step two...with the text posted, click on "attach". It will show a window allowing you to Browse your computer to the place where the picture file you wish to post is stored. Double click on the file or highlight several files. REMEMBER - you must already have downsized those files or they will display way too large, messing up the screen for everyone of the forum.
step three...click upload. the pictures should display.

What we are looking at here is a mermaid in training with mentor. Mr S'dog: ok to post this?
What is strange with this site is that the second photo of the mermaid figurehead would post only as a file attachment but the one of my grandson sliding into homeopened normally. Perhaps, the figurehead is over the proper size limit too. Both the baseball shot and the Grandpop one are smaller files. I do not understand the web site tech rules. Stuff happens!

Thanks for the tutorial Joel. Used Photoshop to resize to 720x743 and just couldn't resist cutting and pasting a salty dog's face on SorryDog's picture.

OH NO!!! I nor my SHIPS FIGUREHEAD was prepared for THAT DIFIGUREMENT!!! Unforttunatley she sits looking over my computer and SAW THE PIC, AS I DID!!! She is 17th century and seen a LOT riding on the bow of an old ship, however when I turned around to try to blindfold her, either the old wood was SWEATING or she squeezed out a TEAR!!!! lol Mermaid IN TRAINING ABOVE IS MY LITTLE Grandbaby, Taylin Rose. I remember when Fastjeff had a post with his and couldn't wait to get mine old enough to run my boat, shes a few months older now and will catch a fish ,kiss it and throw it back. Have already bought her a Canoe, gotta paint it Pink! Thanks Jarlbert for resizing the Photos!! Sorrydog
