Dave..for the last ssevl years, I have bought my Trilux 33 there...best prices around and I so posted that on the vendor list we maintain on the site. So, in a sense I would promote them. For the record, I have no financial interest in them, don't even get a stinkin' tee shirt.

Found T33 on eBay for $188.77 per gallon (includes shipping on 2 gallons of red). Same store...Wholesale Marine.

If Wholesale marine can sell the trilux at 187 per gallon why couldn't Westmarine do the same without the price matching gig...........what a rip off. Pwersonally I'm going with Schilling paint out of Cleveland, used it last year with good results in fresh water ( Ohio River ) 45.00 per gallon.

Could a person apply the Schilling over Trilux 33? Are they compatable?

Thanks for the post CI. However, the priming is not a desired step. Just want to prep existing Trilux 33 and recoat with AF.

I used the schilling paint and liked it too. I'll be putting it on again this year. Helluva lot cheaper!

Pretty sure they don't ship it, but if you are nice to me, I might pick it up and ship it to you. I'm really considering trying it out, this season...

I looked the chart over and I was surprised to see that the tri 33 over tri 33 says to just clean and coat. Do you folks reccomend a lite sanding anyway. It would be hard for me to not sand any surface prior to painting with anything.....In the below picture the scum line is on top, I cant imagine putting a boat up for the winter without cleaning that but what ever, and the last botom job done in black is showing worn thin. I am planning to sand away the remaining black from the entore bottom and re-do in new black tri 33. I still need some education on what is needed to do tri 33 coat over the original bottom as that is the blue.
