Anxious With all the work we have put into the restoration of ourBigM . I am afraid this handle may look out of place. Anybody know where I can get a replacement handle? The correct oblong black one would be great. Thanks

Thanks Jeff. I have been lookin all over. Was going to go all out and attempted to make one but I would rather have the right one on their. Of course when it broke off I was just outside the marina and the lever was half way in between the stations. d'oh! Didn't panic because that's when I expect things to break (at the most inopportune time). Fortunately the vise grips were handy and we got steering back instead of having to use the motors all the way back for steering.Applause

Does anyone know what tool(s) it takes to remove that lever? Wanna be sure I'm ready for it.

Mine took a forced handBrick wall . Actually mine was held on by a flat head screw, If you look close you can still see it in the vise grip jaws>
