What a deal for the guy who wants to convert to diesel. I once bought a 28' express in about the same condition for about the same price. It was a fine boat, no concerns, ran well with a 100 hp Perkins. The lady who bought it converted to 318 Chrysler, what an odd engine to use. Now, if I could just find a nice Steyr or maybe a Yanmar, with a tranny.....

Actually, if somebody wants this boat as a conversion, I could give them a good deal on a 100hp Perkins 4-cylinder with velvet drive. She wouldn't go like a gas boat, but not as slow as you would think. When you double the horsepower, you don't double the speed.....
