We have a 1974 Marinette I believe it is the fisherman 28' flybridge 2 Chrysler 318 . We have totally restored this beauty about six years ago. None the wiringa made any sense but we rewired properly at time. The help I am looking for is ours had an engine synchronizer that was made somewhere in PA long since out of business in all manuals we have been able to obtain for this boat, nothing on this. It has not worked in years. We decided to abandon it, but because the wiring from the beginning was not coded correctly, we are having trouble tracing them back to the engines to remove, especially since Starboard engine will not do anything, Port engine cranks, but we will check this afternoon to see if it has spark. Both worked great until we disconnected this on the bridge, does anyone have a manual or clu or any tips on this , we are going to try and track with volt meter, but we would appreciate a more timely method. Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to give.

Welcome. Don't know your syncro but I do know the people at Glendinning have been making synchronizers for almost forever and can probable help you figure out what's going on.

Similar problem this year during a rewire myself. I forgot to hook the Syncro back up and this created a break in the wires. I would guess you need to find the wires from sync an determine which is for what motor and connect them together to complete the motor starting circuits. should be purple wires.
