My boat has developed a few pin holes around where the drain plug is on a 1986 28 express possibly from using the wrong annodes. Can anyone tell me the best way to go about repairing pin holes like this. What about drilling out and then soldering the hole shut or using some 3M 5200 to seal it up? Anyone else ever run into this problem?

Ah-hem! (Clearing throat.) Some moron put a bronze cutlass bearing on mine which created a sea of pinholes on that side. (The port side is fine.)

You need to clean out the pinholes somehow, then go through the usual etch/ epoxy/ prime / AF paint routine. As the epoxy thickens in the pot, you can keep dabbing it on to fill up the pinholes.
