Okay I started taking the engine, a 440 Chrysler, out and have all the accessorys available. Propeller, shaft, strut, rudder, steering system, marine gear, controls, instrumentation. The boat is located in Buffalo, NY and if you have needs, call me at 716 348 6379. E mail jimski2@hotmail.com.

My plans are to add an outboard bracket, motor, controls and steering. I know this is more expensive than a new engine or rebuild but I like outboards.

You might want to look at www.reeldealmarine.com for an outboard bracket.

I repowered a 28', and I think if I were to do it again I would add an Evinrude E-tec to the stern instead of all the trouble I went to. Lots of advantages to outboards, not the least of which is the fact that you can sell them separate from the boat.

Jim, If you have a flybridge model, I'm looking for the rudder linkage that disconects the upper stearing. Thanks, Wayne
