The tab's mounting plate is isolated from the hull with an isolator and insulating sleves on the screws. The isolator is mearly a 1/16" piece of vinyl (or plastic?) the same size as the tab mount area. The holes on the insulator match the mounting holes for the tab.
Some of the screw's insulation were messed up so they were fixed with 1/4" nylon washers and a 1/4" piece of heat shrink to act as a collar. Got the washers and heat shrink at Lowe's. The insulating vinyl gasket was already there.
