1978 Chrysler 318 marine engine, professionally rebuilt, with rebuilt straight drive 'velvet' transmission
on Ebay with Item number: 320534792355 including pictures

Engine was palleted and sent to N Carolina for professional rebuild, carb has been rebuilt, water pump, alternator, new hoses, belts, etc....a completely rebuilt repower for your boat

comes with sturdy engine stand and all documentation, including engine manual

We had this rebuilt intending to put in a Marinette, but the project fell appart and we've sold the boat

We have around $3000 in rebuilding alone, and we're selling the entire setup for about what the engine cost to rebuild by itself

Starting bid is $2000 and I encourage you to look at the actual engine before bidding. You will not be disappointed. It is beautiful.

We won't ship this unless prior arrangements are made beforehand.

Was thanked: 25 time(s) in 21 post(s)
It came up for me; 9 days left on the auction, no bidders yet. I wish this puppy had been sitting in the garage 15 years ago instead of a diesel when I repowered my 28'. Would have been a lot less trouble and a lot faster.

Strange. I couldn't find the listing this morning under the item number or description, but tonight there it is, first try. It looks good as described by the original poster Applause
