On our old site someone once listed a source in the Balimore area who carried the wheels and parts for a sliding screen door. Anyone recall who that supplier was.

This is where we got the screen parts here in Ohio.

I'm sure they would ship to you if cant find them elsewhere.
I can try to get the numbers for you. They have allot of stuff. I think they did or still do make parts too.

The screens are garbage. Probably the worst part of a Marinette.
You will have to disassemble the frames to get the rollers out since the rollers are what hold the frames together.

One word of caution is to make very small and gentle adjustments once the screens are placed back in the tracks. The adjustment screw will strip out of the roller assembly very easily. If that happens your back to square 1. Got to start all over.

Blaine is the end-all, be-all in screen door stuff. They are quite convenient to me in the Wash DC area and have repaired my doors, once for rollers, another time for the screens. Check them on the web. Reasonable prices and great service. If you can pull the rollers, they WILL have a replacement part (there are scores of different screen door rollers & other parts). They can also give you some advice over the phone

Forgot to mention. You may want to soak the corners with PB-Blaster a day of 2 before you start working on them. Might have to drill out anyways. Depends how crummy they are.

I have no screen doors, and the tracks are gone too.

I have heard so many complaints about the sliding ones on this forum that I don't know if I want to go that way. Phantom makes a screen door for houses in custom sizes. I was going to put it inside the glass doors, rather than outside. There is a picture from the phantom site, http://business.phantoms...nergyBLOBViewer.asp?ID={393A3636-87DD-478F-B407-F53302D765C1}
just wondered if anyone has tried something like this?

BTW, I first saw these at the boat show in miami, and have seen some production boats with them, so they are not new to boats.

Good idea. May try that myself. THe factory doors were gone when we bought the boat so we had to rig up a removable screen held by snaps. It works but is awkward.

The corners and wheel assembly does come from Blaine Window in Baltimore since the part number wasn't listed here it is. part number is G216 in the catalog it shows it comes with both nylon and metal wheels but it does not. Only nylon The cost is 7.18 each. The screens are actually held together by these corners and the the corners are held in place only by friction when tapped in and then the tension of the screen when all four corners are together. If you get these corners your doors will slide like new.
