We run from Craigs Creek up to Cincy on a Friday and stayed at Manhatton harbor for two days, moved over to Four Seasons for 2 days and then headed back to port for a night and on to Madison then on to louisville for a couple of nights, had a good week. I ran over 300 miles after adding in two short side trips. "edit " The aft Cabin boat actually met up with us in louisville so I guess it was really 3 running together.

You'll have bad times, but they'll just wake you up to the good times you weren't paying attention to

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know "why" I look this way.I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

Doug,

Sorry we missed you at Manhattan Harbour.

We're planning a trip up or down river from Manhattan in October. Can you give me a breakdown of gas usage between points? It'd help with determining which direction to head.

I left pier 99 full and burned 74 gallons yeilding me .85 mpg running fairly hard as the river would allow, current was strong and more debris than I liked. I probably banged 10 different things off the bottom but no damage. Light house point is about half way and is a good fuel stop. Aurora landing is usually less expensive but I believe is 10% ethanol as opposed to Light house. No fuel available from Markland dam down to Rivers Edge at Bethlaham. They had 93 octane no alcohol for the same price as most everyone elses 89 or 91 price. Not to mention some good litle pizza's coofed to order. I am not sure if Madison's River Crest Marina is selling fuel or not. I could check if you'd like.
