they say the two best days in a boat owners life is the day they buy it and sell it.... that because not all boat owners have big Ms my nabors have a 34 silverton cloroxe btl glass boat there always having trouble n spending$$$$ only glass ill own is a whaler as a dink when i get one when i drive it ill hang my head in shame or wear a papper bag for a hat

L. Francis Herreshoff, the yacht designer, referred to fiberglass as "frozen snot" and refused to allow any of his designs to be built with it. As it turned out, wooden boats have largely disappeared and a number of his designs are being made in snot. I asked him about aluminum once and he conceded that it was a fine material for work boats and larger yachts.
