Norm Im in the market for a trailer in the spring. I was going to build one, but now Im leaning towards a new aluminum trailer. Is there a dealer in michigan for nextrail? They seem to be one of the cheaper trailers as far as price goes. Sorry for mucking up your for sale ad.... I can pm you if you prefer? Thanks.

As far as I know there is no Nextrail dealer in MI. they are built in FL. as U know mines up for sale it only has the milage from FL. plus the 600mi. I transported my boat home now that the boat is gone really no need for trailer if interested give me a call at 248 330 4154 or for info about trailer. I'm sure we can work out some sort of deal.

Norm - you didn't have a flybridge, if I remember correctly? What year was your boat and do you know how high the keel was off the ground?

Thanks :)

John,

The boat is a 1989 F/B sedan I had to remove the F/B to legally transport it down the inter state @ a legal height of 13' 6" or less. With F/B removed & 4 ½” H, box to hold all the wiring, cables etc it sat 13' 4" on the trailer. With F/B on & setting on trailer to top of wind screen it measured 16' 2" . I contemplated on lowering rear bunks so keel would just clear top of axles but would only gain 4" to 5" no where near what was needed to meet MDOT’s height requirements. d'oh! AnyWho here’s a shot of stern with boat on trailer. HTH.
