Greg,
Thanks for all the info, afraid we are going to skip Shilo & head on down the Ten-Tom tomorrow. I sure hate that we didn't get to meet, but it has been great talking with you. It's always great to get local info. We may be back one of these days.

Safe & Happy boating,
Roger

Loop update,
C J & I left Columbus, MS 2-12-2011, & after several overnight anchorages & a couple marinas we arrived in Mobile Bay Thursday evening,2-17 @ Dog River Marina. They have a large boat yard, several marinas here all together, seems to be some one here to do everything. Building tuna towers & tops on site, canvas work, very busy yard! I've got to remove and have and alt checked. It charges but not eneough. West Marine on site! I've go to stay out of there!

Went to Shiloh years ago, before I was up on my Un-Civil War history. Neat place. If you go, be sure to check out Pittsburg Landing. That's where the gunboats ferrying in reinforcements docked.

Ohio is a mess! High water with lots of debris. I do not believe any marine facilities are open due to highh water.

KY Dam and Barkley Dam will be spilling again this week adding more water to the equation.

Be safe!

For anyone who's interested;
C J & I will return to our boat in Chesapeake, VA Sunday April 29, (pickup rental car early Sat AM) load up & drive part way, arriving Sunday evening.
I've got some maintenance to do when we arrive. Clean after coolers, reinstall bimmi etc among the normal stuff. I'm allowing a week to do these things. Then we should be headed North into the Chesapeake Bay & on North. If you want to follow us use the following link. If you are along our route, give me a call or e-mail as we approach, would love to meet our BigM and other friends.

We are at ingram Bay Marina @ Heathsville, VA. Seems very nice and well protected harbor. We are about 10-15 miles from entering the Potomac River.
