What's the trick to get the spider poo off without removing all the wax on my boat? I have a lot of it on my boat so spot treatment would take forever. Is there a miracle soap out there?

Did a search, nothing came up.

As long as you don't leave it on the surface any longer than a minute or 2 Scrubbing bubbles works the best. Thats what I have been using for a couple of years now.. Like I said do 5' x5' areas at a time. The exposure time is critical to the waxed surface.

Best defense against spider poop is to illuminate the source I’ve had great success with “Home Defense” in getting rid of those critters. Anxious By using it U can pretty much do away with spiders aboard. Spray the stuff around the outside of the boat, on dock lines & the finger dock. One good spray last up to 2/3 wk depending on the weather & how often U wash the boat.Think

I applied bug spray around my finger dock about a month ago. Still had to kill about 50 plus spiders Eh? on the boat. We had a bug hatch that was unbelievable! Used purple power to clean the boat a few times....I think it took off all my wax Think.

I will take all your advice and see what happens. Bug season should be over, but I will be ready next year thanks to you guys.

I will try Home Defense and the Star Brite black streak remover.

Thanks again

If you have enough spiders, they leave small but evident black droppings

Spiders must be different everwere in size depending were you live. As far as removing the poo ; if you don't want to remove any polish off your boats than spray with water and give a few minutes and wipe. As far as getting rid of the spiders , what ever you think works will work ; if you believe that happens than must be a miracle worker...

Works very well, you can watch it start dissolving the drops as soon as you spray it on and does a great job of removing black streaks from the sides of the hull.

I use the blue windshield cleaner that I keep in a spray bottle on board. It works on all surfaces to get rid of the nasty spots. Then we pop the little buggers while Salmon fishing in the evening, it gets rid of the bugs and seems to cause Salmon to bite. or maybe the spiders become active when the sun sets and the Salmon feed? Anyway the blue windshield solution does a great job for us.
