Boy, am I dumb! Took me three years to finally replace this thing, which was causing all of my no-start problems. And it's not that hard to do. The wires connct to it with a pair of screws and, since the switch is located UNDER the starter, you have to stand on your head to connect the wires. Instead, I attached the harness first: remove the entire harness, connect it to the switch, then screw the switch in place with a 7/8 " opne end. I then reconnected the harness. Piece of cake!
