Hello,
What a great find when I ran across this site! I purchased the Lucky Dog in 2007 in Alexandria ,VA just under the bridge from Washington,DC on the Potomac River. We came down the Potomac to the Chesapeake Bay and followed the ICW to Belhaven. It was a four day adventure full of fun and interesting people. We have been in Belhaven, NC for 3 years and I have her (why is she a her?) out of the water right now to repaint the bottom....wish I had joined and read this forum a month ago....would have saved some work for me.....but alas so goes it...thanks for all the great advise and encouraging words....makes me want to go hug my boat.

You'll have bad times, but they'll just wake you up to the good times you weren't paying attention to

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know "why" I look this way.I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

Huntfish, that is one gourgeous 28'. I too, love that color and dark windows. I am going to fit mine with the anchor platform. Do you have twin engines?

Thanks ya'll.....I have black canvas window covers that snap on from the outside, it keeps the interior cooler in the summer.
It has a single engine....which gets me where I need to go. I love this boat!

You may want to consider having a white window cover made up for that front window. I know that the
black on white really makes the boat look nice. But it transfers a lot of the hot summer sun heat into boat where as a white one will reflect it better. By experimenting with a white sheet over the window I took the temp with the blue cover on with a laser thermometer first on the dark blue one that came with the boat. On a high 90* day the readings where somewhere like a 140*on the inside of the cover. Then covered the window with a white sheet took another reading in just the time it took to switch them the temp on the sheet was something like 97* all temp reading where taken from the inside. Had a white cover made up out of Sunbrella for around a $100. In early Spring & Fall I use the blue one to heat the salon & in the heat of the Summer I use the white. AnyWho it worked for Me. That was a first class post Norm and should be a topic!
You have to respect the Science and the practicality of two covers, but for the bling I too would go for the black and hope the AC can keep up.

Beautiful boat. The 28' sedan is my favorite. Well maybe the 37 sedan, and the 32 . . .
