Joe, I have the same generator but I want to move it. It is positioned between the 2 440's. You can hardly get a shoehorn between them. Curious about where you positioned yours.

I have the "old" Windows XP. The Paintbrush utility might not be in "Accessories" in Windows 7.

In Windows 7:
1. If you can't locate paint in Start - All Programs - Accessories,
2. You can start it by Clicking on the Start Button. In the left column of the 2 that'll show up (the lighter shaded one), at the bottom, you'll see a field starting with the word "Search...." . Type in MSPaint there and a second Window will open. Click on/choose the MSPaint.exe file and you're off to the races.
3. Paint is located in -
c:\windows\system32\mspaint.exe
If all else fails....
Go to Control Panel - Programs and Features - Install Paint and you will probably need your
Windows 7 installation DVD.

Correct: the proper name for that program is MSPaint.

Sorry for any confusion.

I think there is something wrong with the forum as far as posting pictures. I tried to post the picture of the gen set between Volvos ( I've posted before) & it said file was too big. about 64 KB.

Welcome to the forum !! I am from Madison Indiana but boat out of Warsaw Ky. about 30 miles further up the river from here. We were in louisville this summer, Us big M owners need to tighten up some so we can visit more readily when in one anothers area. I have a 6.5 Onan mounted in that same location in my 39 Sedan and it is wonderful. I can get to all 4 sides of the gen easily and I can virtually set Indian style between and outboard of each engine, I can even lay down one my side outboard or between as well, not many people have it this good when it comes to doing the bilge rat duties. You chose the optimum location, be glad you did.

Stay active on the forum !! It is valuable to preserving our wonderful vessels.

I am going to work toward compiling a good list of Marinette owners from the Cincinatti to Louisville area and see if it is possible to have a rally at the midpoint in either Madison or Warsaw in the future. I will post my thoughts soon in a dedicated thread here on the forum. They do it other places and it looks like great fun.

First I would like to say that I'm still working on the pic,s . I bought our boat last sept, At 4 seasons in cinn. The day after I bought it,the lock gate fell off at the markland dam. The boat was on the trailer,so we painted the bottom while it was in cinn, Waited for weeks for the lock to be repaired. Then they told as that it was not going to be fixed till summer. So we drove to the lock and waited in line for 9 hours to get through. it was a nightmare. But we made it with out a scratch. We were in madison for the regata. we put 150 hours or more on it this summer. I dont know about next year , with the gas prices. It would be fun to get them together. Our problem is we have a 4 and 6 year olds. I never know what I doing. "Hand fullls" Joe

Great idea, Doug. Come hell or high water we'd love to participate in a get together this season. Gonna put a "skirt" around Sunset Seeker in early March to run a torpedo heater (use a generator I can borrow) so I can blast, repair, and paint the bottom. Lot of BigM owners in the area. Have to believe it'd be great fun! :d/

Hey, Joe, those kids will be fine; and they'll grow up boaters (like mine). Just be sure they have a PFD on wen they're not inside that spacious cabin.
