Finally got it listed. First step is the Boat US site. Others to follow. It will be interesting to see what kind of interest the listing creates. Sad moment for me to do this but.....

I listed mine with US Boats too.. Let me know if you have any hits.. I have had exactly none from their site.. They send me lots of crappy newsletters though! Are you up/down sizing or just not boating anymore? Good luck with the sale!

I had mine posted on that site a year ago along with an asking price: (Price was very reasonable) Anyway no hits after over a year so I pulled it.

Your boat really looks nice! I wish I had a 32 but do love my 87 29..

I have had mine listed with them for about four months now.. I have some hits from craigslist, and one guy I thought was serious, but I still have the boat..Hell, I'm only asking 12.5 I'd love to keep it but I can't afford to dock both at the marina I'm in and I don't know if it's worth having two separate marina's to go to..

Real sorry to see so many old timers selling their BigM 's.

Up here in NE Michigan the city lowered their dockage to try and get more customers.

Since I'm on a trailer I'm not sure how much lower it is but the Harbor Master is Don at the City

Sold it..at least have a signed agreement, deposit enroute. It will be tough to part with such a fine boat but as I noted above, life evolves and while heart tugs hard, the head every so often gets to be in charge. Buyer drove a hard but fair bargain. BUt fear not, you will have to put up with me on this board for some time. What a bunch of charact....er, super captains. And I will be going to the northern part of the Chesapeake Bay to beg a ride from Capt Jeff and the Admiral (even though he is prejudiced against flybridge lovers)

Congratulation on your sale Joel. Understand how your pride & joy tugs when there gone. But there will always be great memorys and pics. Maybe in time a smaller one will just tug again.

Actually, the $ saved will go right back out the window to support my jazz music playing habit. I earn hundreds by playing and spend thousands to keep learning. Do you think I got the 2nd grade math lessons right? Next year, I expect to have a playing session on a New Orleans paddle wheel river boat and can imagine being the captain.

UPDATE: we concluded the sale last nite with a marathon get-acquainted-with-the-boat session that ran from 11 in the morning 'til 9 at nite -- didn't realize there is so much to go over -- and we didn't finish it all. Still owe an on-water handling session. Now, I can afford to go out and get the hat, blazer, white trousers, join a fancy yacht club (do they still have those things?), hold a glass of tomato juice, and spin stories of the good old days at sea. "...green water was coming over the bow, drenching the fly bridge, there was lightning and suddenly......."
