Has anyone mounted a Hurley Dinghy Davit on a 37 platform? IF so is a standard 37 big "M" platform wide enought to mount the Hurley with the 36" extenstions and still get around the inside of the dink?

Is that the same as a "Hardly Ferguson"?

Oh! I thought you were looking for a winch deal for a motorcycle! (I know...Doh!)

Those davits are also called Weaver Davits and the ones I've seen work nice. I stole the idea for my homemade ones.

I looked at them and the problem I found on my 37 Aft cabin was that there was no room to flip the inflatable up and still get off the platform. If I had the extension 36" swim platform I wouldl go for it but the standard swim platform doesn't leave you any room.

To use a dingy on my 32 footer, I also had to extend the swim platform.

We used the Weaver Arc davits to mount our inflatable on the swim platform. We made some extensions for the davit heads using 3/8" or 1/2" aluminum bar stock. With the extensions I have enough room to walk around on the swim platform.
The inflatable is a AB 11'6' that has a aluminum bottom and transom. The outboard is a 15 hp. Johnson 2 stroke.

Nice setup. It reminds me of my own--and our boat is named 'Mystic'. Pretty close!
