Holy smokes,
I thought it would be a good idea to replace the thermostats this year since I am going to get my stuff running right this year and wow! It would appear theses things are part of the housing it doesn't even so signs of a grove or anything, these do come out right????

Yea they come out, spray with blaster to loosen up, I had to pry on them,be careful if they're top hat looking thermostats, whoever makes them are proud of them.$80 on up I cleaned mine up, checked them in heated water on stove to see if they still work open at 140 and closed when cooled and they did.
