Hi All,

so is any one using Petit AF paint? Talked to rep last year and, if I rember, he said scuff old paint and apply the Vivid. any comments on this? Saw it for $150 a gallon on line, this sound like a good price.

Thanks,

Albert

I've put Vivid on several smaller aluminum boats used in the salt here in the PacNW and can report excellent anti-foul properties and durability. It can generally be applied over most existing bottom paints.

We are on our third year with the Vivid paint. With the exception of a few spots of corrosion (not related to paint), it has held up well. Still, I think it's time to pull and apply a few fresh coats.
