I assumed I have a 100 fuel gallon tank. All the ones like mine for sale are listed as having a 100 gallon tank.

First time I've run my tank close to empty for winter layup. Filled up (ouch) for dewinterization a few days ago and pump shut off at 70 gallons. Either my gauge is wrong or I have about a 75 gallon tank.

Anyone know what size fuel tank I have?Think

I don't know about a 29' BigM but here's how you could compute the capacity of your tank:

Length in feet x Width in feet x Height in feet = Cubic feet dimension

Cubic feet dimension / 7.47 = gallons

I would say a 96 gal tank would be advertised as a 100 gal using the round up theory if your a good captain you know not to plan a trip thinking you have a 100 gal to USE. 1/3 OUT 1/3 BACK and 1/3 for wind, current, mishaps. So 100 gal 103 or96 is a mute point with addition that your pick up tube is not all the way at the bottom of the tank to prevent pick up of trash off the bottom. 25 gal at the bottom of a 100 gal tank isn't gonna look like much.

It would be interesting to know how much unusable fuel is in our 100 gal tank. May even say it in our manual somewhere.

Guess one could measure pickup tube and tank and use formula to figure it out exactly. Think

Measured tank at 17x17.5x60 which says my tank is a 75 gal tank (confusing because I have twins, and someone said twins are 100 gal). Assuming the pickup tube is 1 inch off the bottom (not sure), that would mean my tank has 5 gallons of unusable fuel (or water).

My 28 sportsman with twin 318's has a 75 gallon tank as well. Except for filling it I sure wish it had a larger one. I have looked at either adding another or removing that one and going bigger haven't decided yet. Any suggestions?
