It had to be done. I figured do it the right way now and it'll save me a big headache later. Started by sanding off the majority of old paint to bare metal, followed that by soda blasting seams and welds to get into all the tight spots, re-scuffed entire bottom then cleaned with 202. Next came 5 coats of 2000e epoxy primer and then finally a couple coats of 33. A very big job, big bucks, but well worth the peace of mind its done right.
