I purchased 2 pieces of channel iron to use as runners for the wheels on my engine hoist. With the doors slid all the way open and the hatches and flooring removed we rolled the hoist in connected the lift chain from the engine to the hoist and jacked it up and rolled it out on the deck where the boat hoist could get to it. Sorry for the slow response, been on vacation and haven't kept up with the forum and didn't see the post. I have rear seal problems and would like to try and raise the engines high enough to get them changed out. I was thinking something like what your pictures show, but it really helps to see the pics.
