My oil pressure sending unit has gone bad & replaced it with a truck unit from auto parts store but it pegs the meter. Anyone know the right source for this part. This is for 318cu.

What you got was an oil pressure switch.

Try a borg warner s330-p or equivalent.... Just ordered one for myself. If you want to wait until this weekend, I will report back, but I am 90% sure it is the right one, and a6 $6.00, I am willing to take the risk...

Hey Guys

If U have a F/B U have to have a dual station send unit that’s why U may B having a problem & I don’t believe they can B had at a auto store. Try Hurrikane or the likes they have been posted several times on this just don’t have the info at hand now Brick wall

I do have F/B but no gauges but tachs on the bridge. Way down on my "things to do list" Sender was supposed to be for 318 truck with gauge. Who knows what I got.

I just thought I’d throw that info out there just in case someone had that problem that has upper & lower helm gages. Hope U get it worked out. I’ve have a set of sender units in the shop I’ll see if I can find a part # on them if so I’ll post soon Anxious
