My props are marked 16LH14/16RH14. Obviously, left-hand/right-hand and I assume 16x14. I don't remember this size prop discussed as the choice for 32' twin Marinettes (318/240hp). It has never crossed my mind to check prop size because I don't often cruise over 2200 - 2500 RPM's. What are advantages or disadvantages... consequences?
Thanks,
Jim

IT WILL TURN OVER 4,000 AT ANY TIME . FULL OF FUEL AND WATER. 5 PEOPLE 4,300 NO PROBLEM. APPROX 35 MPH JOE. MY ENGINES ARE ALL ORGINAL. I NORMALLLY RUN 2,500 2,800. I RAN IT FROM CINCINATTI TO LOUISVILLE AT 3,500 IT REALLY RUNS GOOD THERE. I WISH GAS WAS 99CENTS A GALLON AGAN.

Couldn't agree more about the gas. It looks like I'm getting quite a bit of slip as my speed is not where it should be. I never get over 4k RPM's and don't always get that many, but don't ever remember more than 26 - 27 mph. Probably dirty bottom and all that extra "stuff" or old flexing props.
