I have the original aluminum bow hatch that has a nasty rubber gasket mounted on the deck portion of the hatch. Anybody know where I could get a replacement?Brick wall

Think Dougrose wrote;
"Back on the boat. The stuff I used on the hatch is called "backer rod" and is 1/2" diameter. It is a foam rod used as backing when caulking a large gap. It sounds crazy, but no water comes in when I hose off (the true test, since rain comes down mostly)."
He came up with this fix. I tried it last week and it is working fine. I bought mine from ACO hardware store. I used a little liquid nail for foam to hold mine in position.
Thanks Doug

There are two locations for a gasket or seal. Are you talking about the hatch frame to boat deck or hatch door to frame seal?

In that case i think Dougrose's idea works. It's like a foam rod that you push into the grove for the gasket.
I'm pretty sure that is how it works
