Looked in search for engine casting # only found ford info. I have a 318 out of a pen yan with a v drive hooked to it got to know left or right rotation and can it be made to be right hand by changing the cam. Was told by seller it was fresh rebuild no expense spared boat sank engine empty n pickled with diesel n never ran needs to be pulled down cleaned and rebuilt but I don't need a left h if I can't make it a right im not gonna pay for research. Most single inboards I've seen are reverse rotators.

Even hooked to a v drive a reverse rotation is if sitting on the carb looking down at the ballencer on the front the top of the pump pulley moving to the right for starboard. Port turns left. Correct?
