Some of you may already know this but for those that don't.......
If you have ever changed out the sanitation hoses on your boat, then you know it can be a "crap" shoot - especially when you are trying to fit the new hose on the fittings

.
You can save yourself a little time and frustration by going down to your local parts store that rents tools and ask for the 1 and 1/2 inch exhaust pipe expander. Or you can always buy one and keep it in your tool box, about $25.
Prior to removing one end of the old hose from your sanitation system, ensure that the holding tank has been pumped. Next, go ahead and insert the exhaust pipe expander in the end of your new hose and "stretch" the end of the hose just enough to allow an easy fit onto the fittings, not too much or you can rip the hose. After a few minutes, remove the exhaust pipe expander. Disconnect the old hose and simply push the new hose on the fitting and tighten the clamps accordingly. Repeat this process on the next hose end until you have completed your hose change out.....
It's much better than pushing, shoving, prying, and trying to hold your breath
