Probly not, Mags are made not to corrode, just the oposite of what you want to happen, giving up electrons in a 'less noble' situation. Besides think of the drag involved! JAM

You'll have bad times, but they'll just wake you up to the good times you weren't paying attention to

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know "why" I look this way.I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

I found a 1foot piece of anode at the marina work yard and wired it to a 5 foot piece of Romex with two alligator clips to connect to the aft cleat. Adds a full point to my Capac readings in fresh water.

For the "thrifty" (cheap?) among us, you should be able to save your old anodes, string a few of them together and have "free" guppies.

Normally, a fresh water guppie has to be pure magnesium to work well. In salt water, though, a "mag wheel" (which usually isn't magnesium) might suffice.
