Just got back from about 3 weeks at the cottage and working on both that and the "M". One of the thing I did to the old girl was tune both engines. This consisted of new plugs (old ones looked a little brown but no burnt or black ones, good news!) old ones were gapped about 32 thou and I gapped the new ones at 35. Replaced both dist. caps, no points, and put in two new hi output coils, and then did a curb idle adjustment, (richness was off and idleing used to be a tad stinkiy and that is now gone!). The best part of all is the motors are a whole lot easiler to start and haven't stalled once since the tune up! I was gonna rebuild the carters but it's running so good may not touch them now and top speed got up to 33 by gps, the fastest I have ever had her moving! Anyways thanks for let me post my brag....JAM
