Yooper posted this one elsewhere and I want to make sure it gets singular attention in TIPS

I could not replace the 4" flexible vent hose that ran from the air conditioner located in the "wine cellar" behind the steps all the way inside the port side cabin wall through the back of the closet and to the V-berth bulkhead. Nothing I tried worked. PVC pipe, fish tape, wire cable and even a sewer camera all got hung up trying to drag in the hose. How did they put it in when they installed the air conditioner?

We removed the long dinette bolster and frame from the port side wall. There was the answer. Two six inch holes made at the exact location of the pinch points behind the wall. The holes are near the end of the bolster frame. You reach in to correctly route the fish tape from the V-berth to the wine cellar. You locate the compressed hose at the hole in the wine cellar. Pull from the V-berth while your helper reaches in and pulls the hose around the pinch points. The procedure can also be uses to route wires and cables from the front to the back of the boat
