I removed the Morris Control units so they could be re-chromed. Now I am putting them back together and have found a couple of question areas. There are several of the nylon bushings missing which I would like to replace. I also found that each unit has a threaded hole for a set screw at the bottom of the handle area. All but one of the set screws are missing. So, my questions are where can I find an installation manual for the control units and where might find replacement parts for the units? What exactly is the set screw used for and how do I adjust the unit properly? As you can tell from all the missing stuff, someone was 'in there' before me and I'm not sure what else is missing! Thanks for any ideas.

While this manual may not be exactly what you are looking for it is VERY simular to the Morse controls on our M's
This is a double which has one throttle (on right side) and (shifter old term is clutch on the left)

It should get you in the right direction on what may have been removed and explains in detail setting up the controls properly.

Just a thought..did you look under the area where the controls sit - perhaps your missing parts or some of them are lying quietly awaiting retrieval

I have a couple of Morse throttles in my extra parts box.
I went to a liner side-mount throttle.
Could never figure out why they love to mount the throttle way up high above the wheel.

If anyone needs one let me know otherwise they will probably end up in the dumpster.
